Bruce Kneeland is a well-known industry figure. He has a varied background as a writer, podcaster and author. He is perhaps best known for his pharmacy road trips where he travels to super successful pharmacies and interviews the owner and shares success tips gleaned from these interviews with others in articles published in a number of pharmacy magazines. His podcast replicates that format in interviews with pharmacy owners who share ideas with listeners.

 

Bruce, who is not a pharmacist started his career as a drug rep. for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He then moved on to Medicine Shoppe where he gained valuable insights into retail pharmacy operations. He worked for the original Health Mart franchise program and rose through the ranks to become VP of Pharmacy Operations. His final corporate job was VP Retail Sales and GM of Family Pharmacy for the former AmeriSource corporation. When AmeriSource merged with Bergen Brunswick Bruce found himself replaced in his role by a Bergen employee and then set himself up as a freelancer helping both pharmacies and vendors better meet the needs of patients.
